WORKING WITH THE FACULTY OF ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT – LODZ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY – POLAND

On November 14, 2024, a delegation from the Faculty of Organization and Management at Lodz University of Technology in Poland visited International University to implement the project “Mobilization, commercialization and valorisation of knowledge – good practices from developed and newly industrialized countries”.

As part of the project, Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska and Prof. Dr. Magdalena Grebodz-Krawczyk visited various universities worldwide to study and gather information on commercialization, knowledge value enhancement, technology transfer, and innovation. They selected International University, VNU-HCM, as the sole university in Vietnam for this survey.

During the meeting, Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Diep shared a clear overview of the school’s scientific research activities and management processes. The school’s technology transfer initiatives to the local community are consistently transparent, accurate, and effective. Policies are in place to encourage and support project leaders in local technology transfer for community service.

Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Diep, Head of Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, collaborated with Professors from Lodz University of Technology, Poland.

In addition to the mentioned advantages, Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Diep also highlighted the challenges and obstacles faced in policy and administrative procedures during the implementation of projects and technology transfers. Nonetheless, the expert team at the Center perseveres in supporting and pooling resources to ensure the successful execution of projects.

She further emphasized the International University’s commitment to fostering an innovation and startup ecosystem within the institution.

At the conclusion of the working session, the delegation toured the school’s facilities and captured souvenir photos.

Representatives from the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer also joined in the souvenir photos with the delegation.
